Mrs. Dreus, the principal of an elementary school, must replace at a moment's notice a pregnant teacher. Mr. Kees, a 19-year-old trainee, finds himself in charge of Grade 6, a group of particularly turbulent children. The young teacher then experimented with original methods to interest his students.
